Retailer information
Musimport wholesales a wide range of bowed instruments and accessories to retailers across Australia and New Zealand. Once accepted as a Musimport retailer (contact us to register your interest), the following terms apply:
Payment Terms:
Musimport accepts payments via Bank Transfer, or credit card over the phone. Payment details are listed on invoices for each order.
For new retailers, payment is required up front for your first two orders.
Musimport then offers approved retailers 30 day payment terms from the date of order.
Back-order items:
From time to time some items may not be available. If you place an order for an item that is temporarily unavailable, we will get in touch with you straight away and give you an estimate of how long the item will remain on back-order, and give you the option to wait or cancel or your order.
To get an indication of current availability for a particular item, please don't hesitate to get in touch with us.
Delivery:
Postage and delivery costs are based on order weight. For all small parcels we utilise Australia Post to deliver orders, and orders are usually delivered in 3-5 business days. For larger orders Musimport offers courier delivery. To obtain a price for your order, please don't hesitate to contact us.
Professional instrument set-up:
If your business does not have a luthier to set up instruments, selected instruments sold by Musimport are able to be professionally set up by our team of luthiers. Prices listed do not include professional set-up, so please contact us to discuss your requirements and receive a quote.
Our professional set-up includes adjustment to the nut, fingerboard and soundpost, cutting/shaping the bridge, fitting the pegs, and installing high quality strings and other fittings suitable for the instrument (tailpiece, chin rest, endpin, etc).
